Is lying ever all right?

Exodus 20:16“You must not testify falsely against your neighbor.”

The Bible is clear that lying is wrong. God doesn’t need or want or ask you to sin in order for him to accomplish his will. We must align ourselves completely with his absolute truth in our beliefs, words, and actions.
