Why should I strive to be holy?

Leviticus 19:2“You must be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy.”

Romans 6:1-2Well then, should we keep on sinning so that God can show us more and more of his wonderful grace? Of course not! Since we have died to sin, how can we continue to live in it?

1 Peter 1:15Now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy.

Sin and holiness cannot co-exist. If we want an intimate relationship with God, we must strive to be holy as he is holy.
