Philippians 1:6I am certain that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.

When we understand God’s grace, we will desire to become more like Jesus in response.

Daniel 9:18“O my God, lean down and listen to me. Open your eyes and see our despair. See how your city—the city that bears your name—lies in ruins. We make this plea, not because we deserve help, but because of your mercy.”

Recognizing and requesting God’s grace takes humility as we realize our need for it. The more we realize how much we need God’s grace, the more we realize we don’t deserve it—which is exactly why we need it!
