How might worship and devotional time be enjoyable and even fun?

Psalm 149:2-4O Israel, rejoice in your Maker. O people of Jerusalem, exult in your King. Praise his name with dancing, accompanied by tambourine and harp. For the Lord delights in his people; he crowns the humble with victory.

Praising God is a vital part of worship, whether with others in a service or by ourselves, in private. When we realize the extent of God’s love for us, what he has done for us, and what he plans for us, we should be filled with gratitude and exuberant joy. As we see here, this can include music and dancing. No doubt these celebrations also included smiles and laughter.
