Does God have sense of humor?

Psalm 2:4The one who rules in heaven laughs. The Lord scoffs at them.

God laughs at those who refuse to acknowledge him.

1 Kings 18:27About noontime Elijah began mocking them. “You’ll have to shout louder,” he scoffed, “for surely he is a god! Perhaps he is daydreaming, or is relieving himself. Or maybe he is away on a trip, or is asleep and needs to be wakened!”

God’s prophet, Elijah, made fun of the prophets of Baal and their ridiculous religious practices.

Matthew 23:24“Blind guides! You strain your water so you won’t accidentally swallow a gnat, but you swallow a camel!”

Jesus gave an ironic punchline to call out some of the Pharisees for their hypocrisy.

Matthew 19:24“I’ll say it again—it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter the Kingdom of God!”

Luke 6:41“And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?”

Jesus often used humorous exaggeration to make his point.
