If we don’t finish doing what we have said we would do, we hurt our reputation.
Ecclesiastes 7:8Finishing is better than starting. Patience is better than pride.
Following through helps us develop patience and humility in our character.
John 4:34Then Jesus explained: “My nourishment comes from doing the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work.”
John 17:4“I brought glory to you here on earth by completing the work you gave me to do.”
When we finish what God has given us to do, we will experience blessing, and God will receive glory.

We should be people who keep our promises. Thus, if we say we will do something, we should do it.
Galatians 6:9-10So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up. Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith.
We should continue to do all the good assignments and tasks we are given. We may become tired or discouraged, but our work will result in blessing for us and for others.
