How does God deliver me from evil?

Exodus 14:13-14Moses told the people, “Don’t be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today. The Egyptians you see today will never be seen again. The Lord himself will fight for you. Just stay calm.”

Psalm 23:1, 4The Lord is my shepherd; I have all that I need. . . . Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me.

Psalm 34:7The angel of the Lord is a guard; he surrounds and defends all who fear him.

God, who has already defeated evil, is always with you. His presence in your life assures you of deliverance from evil. Sometimes God will step into a situation to rescue you. Sometimes he sends supernatural help through his angels, who are his warriors and in constant battle against Satan and evil. Sometimes his deliverance comes quickly; at other times God waits to deliver us. No matter how God chooses to work, he is always with us and ready to deliver us from evil.
