Can God forgive me for having been involved in a cult?

Isaiah 44:22“I have swept away your sins like a cloud. I have scattered your offenses like the morning mist. Oh, return to me, for I have paid the price to set you free.”

1 John 1:9If we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

God longs for all people to turn to him and place their faith in Jesus. He forgives any and all sins if you sincerely ask him.
