Genesis 1:3In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was formless and empty, and darkness covered the deep waters. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the surface of the waters. Then God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light.

Hebrews 11:3By faith we understand that the entire universe was formed at God’s command, that what we now see did not come from anything that can be seen.

We make things with our hands, as directed by our minds. But God made the universe by his command.
