Develop a desire to obey God. If you have children you know they usually try to obey because they want to please you, even if they don’t always achieve it. That is what God is looking for. He knows that because of your sinful nature, you won’t always obey him. What he wants is your desire to obey, because that is the sign that you love and respect him, that you believe his way for you is best. If you consistently disobey because you enjoy it, you do not yet love God the way he wants you to.
