Why is it important to confront others when they’ve done something wrong?

Ephesians 5:11Take no part in the worthless deeds of evil and darkness; instead, expose them.

Evil and wickedness must be confronted. Left unchecked, they will grow until they overpower you and those you love.

2 Samuel 12:1, 7, 13So the Lord sent Nathan the prophet to tell David this story. . . . “There were two men in a certain town. One was rich, and one was poor. . . . Then Nathan said to David, “You are that man! . . . Then David confessed to Nathan, “I have sinned against the Lord.”

Luke 17:3“So watch yourselves! If another believer sins, rebuke that person; then if there is repentance, forgive.”

Confronting someone who does wrong may lead them back into reconciliation with God and others.
