How can I have confidence in the face of life’s greatest hardships?

1 Peter 5:7Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.

You can have confidence even during the hardest times because God knows your troubles and cares about you.

Romans 8:38-39I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

God assures you in Scripture that even the powers of hell cannot keep his love away from you. You can have confidence, even in your most frightening times, that God is with you, no matter where you are.

Philippians 4:11-13Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Life has its ups and downs, and material comforts come and go. But no matter what situation you find yourself in, God promises to give you the help and strength you need. You can be confident his love for you will never change.
