Ephesians 4:32Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you.

When someone is willing to confess a sin to you, you should forgive. Why? Because you too have been forgiven. Even if you have to forgive over and over, be willing to do so. Why? Because you too are being forgiven over and over by God.
