Psalm 72:12-14He will rescue the poor when they cry to him; he will help the oppressed, who have no one to defend them. He feels pity for the weak and the needy, and he will rescue them. He will redeem them from oppression and violence, for their lives are precious to him.
Mark 1:41Moved with compassion, Jesus reached out and touched him. “I am willing,” he said. “Be healed!”

Even when you have abandoned or rejected God, his compassion moves him to pursue you. He wants to have an eternal relationship with you. Be willing to forgive and, if it’s healthy, be willing to take people back.

The compassion of God forgives others and wants to help them. Remember how much you have been forgiven, and, so, be willing to forgive others.
