What is my responsibility to communicate the Good News?

Matthew 28:19-20“Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Luke 24:46-48He [Jesus] said, “Yes, it was written long ago that the Messiah would suffer and die and rise from the dead on the third day. It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’ You are witnesses of all these things.”

Acts 1:8“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Acts 4:20“We cannot stop telling about everything we have seen and heard.”

Acts 20:27“For I didn’t shrink from declaring all that God wants you to know.”

Romans 10:14-15How can they call on him to save them unless they believe in him? And how can they believe in him if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear about him unless someone tells them? And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is why the Scriptures say, “How beautiful are the feet of messengers who bring good news!”

Titus 1:1-3This letter is from Paul. . . . I have been sent to proclaim faith to those God has chosen and to teach them to know the truth that shows them how to live godly lives. . . . And now at just the right time he has revealed this message, which we announce to everyone.

God has given all believers the responsibility and the privilege of telling others about him. Share with delight and enthusiasm because it is not only Good News, but it is also news that is a matter of life and death.
