How do I know God hears me?

Psalm 4:3You can be sure of this: The Lord set apart the godly for himself. The Lord will answer when I call to him.

Psalm 34:15The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help.

Proverbs 15:29The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayers of the righteous.

1 John 5:14-15We are confident that he hears us whenever we ask for anything that pleases him. And since we know he hears us when we make our requests, we also know that he will give us what we ask for.

The God of truth who cannot break a promise has promised you that he hears whenever you talk to him. If you can’t take God at his word, then you don’t have a very big God. The God who is everywhere all the time is right next to you.
