Why is commitment important?

Psalm 25:10The Lord leads with unfailing love and faithfulness all who keep his covenant and obey his demands.

When you are committed to following God, he will lead you to his will for your life, the satisfying and fulfilling goal for which he has created you. This is the most important commitment you can make, with the longest-lasting rewards.

Psalm 31:23Love the Lord, all you godly ones! For the Lord protects those who are loyal to him, but he harshly punishes the arrogant.

When you are committed to God, he is committed to watching out for you and caring for you.

Ruth 1:16Ruth replied, “Don’t ask me to leave you and turn back. Wherever you go, I will go; wherever you live, I will live. Your people will be my people, and your God will be my God.”

1 Corinthians 13:7Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.

Your commitment to others is evidence of the love you have for them.
