But sometimes the church seems weak. How can we have hope for the church?

Matthew 16:18Upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

Ephesians 3:20-21Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

The church will not be overcome; Jesus promises that he will build his church. The Lord is using the church as his divine instrument to overcome evil with good.
