Is some cheating worse than other cheating?

Mark 12:40“They shamelessly cheat widows out of their property and then pretend to be pious by making long prayers in public. Because of this, they will be more severely punished.”

Sin is sin, but some sin receives greater punishment from God. Cheating those who are less fortunate, and then covering it up by trying to make your actions look more spiritual is a double sin: first the sin of cheating and second the sin of pious deceit. This is hypocritical, and God has very strong words of warning for hypocrites.
