What are some of the ways God challenges me?

Deuteronomy 6:5“And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength.”

John 14:15“If you love me, obey my commandments.”

2 Timothy 3:16-17All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. God uses it to prepare and equip his people to do every good work.

God challenges you through his Word. As you develop a relationship with him, he challenges you to love and obedience.

Mark 10:21Looking at the man, Jesus felt genuine love for him. “There is still one thing you haven’t done,” he told him. “Go and sell all your possessions and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”

God challenges you to examine your heart and make sure he has first place in your life.

Proverbs 27:17As iron sharpens iron, so a friend sharpens a friend.

God challenges you through your believing friends.

John 15:12“This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.”
