How can the Bible give me guidance?

Psalm 73:24You guide me with your counsel, leading me to a glorious destiny.

We might prioritize our need for guidance regarding our next decision, but God’s Word always has eternity in perspective. In the immediate context, God’s leading doesn’t always make perfect sense to us. But the long-term results bring guidance to us and glory to God.

Psalm 119:24Your laws please me; they give me wise advice.

The longer we allow God’s Word to guide our lives, the more we can come to enjoy his directions. In what circumstances have you learned the pleasure of being under God’s instructions?

Prayerfully seeking God’s wisdom is never a wasted effort. Since Scripture comes from the mind and heart of a loving, all-wise God, it is an invaluable source of God’s wisdom.
