What are the practical benefits of a faith-filled attitude?

Proverbs 14:30A peaceful heart leads to a healthy body; jealousy is like cancer in the bones.

Proverbs 17:22A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a broken spirit saps a person’s strength.

2 Corinthians 12:9-10Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Philippians 4:11-13Not that I was ever in need, for I have learned how to be content with whatever I have. I know how to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.

Attitude changes everything. Faith is an attitude of trust that believes God directs all the events in our lives; what happens to us isn’t governed by random circumstances. This attitude allows us to view life from a perspective of hope rather than defeat. It allows us to be positive about circumstances rather than negative because we know that God will take whatever happens and bring good from it. We can even see that our weakness and struggle allow circumstances for God to do great things.
