How can I know what God’s absolutes are?

Judges 21:25In those days Israel had no king; all the people did whatever seemed right in their own eyes.

James 4:11If you criticize and judge each other, then you are criticizing and judging God’s law. But your job is to obey the law, not to judge whether it applies to you.

God has programmed certain absolutes into the world, and they apply to all people, in all times, and in all places. Ignore God’s instructions, and we will miss much of what God intends for us to enjoy. But go against his instructions, and chances are that we will end up hurt, frustrated, and disappointed. That’s why it is so important not only to read the Bible and discover God’s absolutes but also to live by them. Doing so can make life much smoother, and it will certainly be more fulfilling.
