Make it Make Sense: Finding solace in God's goodness when life is hard

Life has a way of pulling us into places we never imagined. For me, that place was the pediatric oncology floor, where my six-year-old daughter, Clara, fought cancer. Overnight, carpools and snack duty gave way to CT scans and chemotherapy. As awful as our new reality was, I knew from my studies of Genesis 1 that God is good. These devotions rise from that collision, holding God's goodness against the reality of brokenness. I don't offer tidy answers, but stories of dissonance, restoration, and rest. My hope is that in these pages, you get a glimpse of the God who is good and is making all things new.
