Book of the Month: Matthew

March's Book of the Month is Matthew. It is the first book of the New Testament and begins with the coming Messiah that has been promised throughout the Old Testament. Matthew is all about the life of Jesus—his birth, work, death, and resurrection. It is the only one of the four Gospels that records Jesus' famous Sermon on the Mount. This Book of the Month encourages believers to seek God's Kingdom above all else and reminds us that by living this way, our Savior will give us everything we need (Matthew 6:33).
