Accidental Pagans: Faith over Fear

What if a lot of what we call faith is actually just fear? Fear of messing up, praying the wrong way, or upsetting a God who seems moody or distant. The ancient pagans believed in gods and goddesses who were thin-skinned, temperamental, and ever changing. Today, our flawed imaginations might think of God in similar ways. Let's not be accidental pagans who are afraid of God; let's be intentional Christians who trust him.
