Day 7 - Wherever You Are: Grace for Moms

Day 7

“Surely your goodness and unfailing love will pursue me all the days of my life, and I will live in the house of the LORD forever.” (Psalm 23:6, NLT)

Mama, Jesus is still calling, “Come to me, all of you [mothers and daughters] who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke [my way of doing things] upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light” (Matthew 11:28-30). His ways make things easier for us, not harder. He is not requiring us to do or give more, but instead he wants to transform us to bring life for ourselves, our families, and our world.

There is nothing you can do to lose God’s love and nowhere you can go where his love will not follow. Again and again, throughout God’s Word, we see his children struggle, fail, and go the wrong way. And again and again, we see a God who goes after them, redeems them, and uses them even when they fail. His goodness and love will never stop coming for you and your family. He will not give up on you. He will continue to pursue us—his children—until the end of our days.

Connect with Your Heavenly Father

  • What is one (or more) thing(s) you’re thankful for? What is something you appreciate about who God is? Set a timer for one minute. Wherever you are, pause and rest in his presence.
