Imagine what might happen if Jesus literally moved into your neighborhood. No doubt there would be some changes as He made Himself at home—and miracles per capita would skyrocket! When you give God full access to your soul and He moves in, He changes things around for the better. He heals your soul with His presence and allows you to flourish. When God moves in, you move on in life because you’re able to.

Without Him, you cannot move on from past hurts. You will inevitably become weary and run out of steam. But God’s power is made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). The healing you receive is not at all about your doing more for God. It’s about giving God greater access to more of your heart and soul so He can do more in you.

What a concept! This was revolutionary for me. It was my true introduction to grace beyond the grace that saved me. He didn’t just save me to leave me how I was, but to set me free with His grace day after day. It’s a process of walking in greater freedom every single day of our lives.

Let God move into your neighborhood—so you can move on in every area of your life.
