Never Impossible

Never Impossible

The gates of Jericho were securely barred because of the Israelites. No one went out and no one came in.

Joshua 6:1

God promises you freedom. Even when it seems impossible. But just as He did for the children of Israel, He will make a way. When the promised land seemed within reach, they hit a wall. Literally.

The entire city of Jericho was surrounded by a wall made of heavy mud bricks. But God had promised His people this land: it was the endpoint of their march to freedom after slavery in Egypt.

So just when the people thought, At last! After forty years in the wilderness, we are actually entering the promised land, God said, “I want you to take that new territory right over there. Yes, right there behind that massive, impenetrable, unscalable wall.”

Isn’t that like our lives? God promises us freedom, and it seems impossible sometimes. But He always has a plan to tear down the walls blocking our way.

He gave the children of Israel a strategy to build their faith and trust Him with the wall—just as He does for us. Their wall came down, and so will yours. Keep trusting Him. Keep seeking Him. Keep believing that if He brought you this far, He’s taking you all the way into the promised land.

Lord, You know the wall I face and the condition of my heart. But I know this truth: for You, nothing is impossible. I’m glad we face this wall together.
