Healed, Redeemed, Transformed

If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!

2 Corinthians 5:17

If life is hard, and you seem to be facing one thing after another, I have good news for you: it’s not you. And you aren’t unlucky, beset, or cursed. Life is hard—naturally—for everyone. We are flawed, imperfect people, surrounded by flawed, imperfect people, living in a broken world. That might not sound like good news on the surface, but fortunately, that’s not the whole story.

God is at work transforming you into a strong Jesus-follower who spreads grace and acts in His strength to build up others. It’s a constant process, revealing His power. So, for instance, the next time you get hurt or face a storm in life, bring it into God’s light and have hope in His healing strength.

Camp on the truth that God is sovereign: He has a plan for you, and at some point He just might have you ministering to people who are going through what you’ve been through. In His power, He makes you new and brings you up out of the past and into His future.

Thank You, Lord, for the healing, redeeming, transforming work You continue to do in my life. And thank You for Your power to make me new.
