No Substitute For Victory!

Thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Corinthians 15:57

Don’t you get tired of Christians going around with their heads down? The Bible says that God “commands victories” for us (Psalm 44:4). “His holy arm” has “gained Him the victory” (Psalm 98:1). “[Whoever] is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith” (1 John 5:4). “We are more than conquerors through Him who loved us” (Romans 8:37), and our attitude should be “Thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ” (1 Corinthians 15:57).

We should be excited about that. We are children of the King. He causes all things to work together for good. We have abundant life promised now, and mansions are being prepared for us in glory. Satan was defeated at Calvary, and he’ll be condemned to hell at the end of the age. We have the Holy Spirit within us and all the promises of God inscribed in our favorite Book.

It’s time to put our shoulders back and our heads up. You’re a victor in Christ today, and the joy of the Lord is your strength!

There is no substitute for victory.
