Meditation Moment: Ecclesiastes 3
Meditation Moment: Ecclesiastes 3
For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to harvest. Ecclesiastes 3:1-2
It’s so good to have different seasons.
The colder weather of winter is nice for snuggling up in a cozy hoodie and fuzzy slippers.
Spring’s flowers and new green grass are so beautiful and inspiring.
Summer’s great to get a break from school and hit the pool.
The red, gold, and orange leaves of autumn are so rich and wonderful to photograph.
Our lives have different seasons too. There are times of great joy and laughter and times of sadness and tears. There are times when we feel surrounded by friends and times when we feel alone.
As you meditate on today’s verses, remember that no matter what the season is, God is always with you. Pray first, then read the verses a few times. Take a minute to be quiet and let God speak to you. When you feel like he’s shown you a picture, thought, or idea, write it down.
