In what ways can my soul be refreshed?

God’s Response

I thirst for God, the living God. When can I come and stand before him? Psalm 42:2

O God, you are my God; I earnestly search for you. My soul thirsts for you; my whole body longs for you in this parched and weary land where there is no water. Psalm 63:1

I lie in the dust, completely discouraged; revive me by your word. Psalm 119:25

Your soul is refreshed when you thirst after God, seeking him as you would a pool of water in a parched desert. Let him refresh you as you drink in his love for you. Feel your soul revive as you soak in his Word. When you are filled with his love, you will be refreshed.

God’s Promise

Satisfy us in the morning with your unfailing love, so we may sing for joy to the end of our lives. Psalm 90:14
