Sometimes I feel too weak to hang on; will God hang on to me?

God’s Response

Because you trusted me, I will preserve your life and keep you safe. I, the LORD, have spoken! Jeremiah 39:18

He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalm 40:2

He will keep you strong right up to the end, and he will keep you free from all blame on the great day when our Lord Jesus Christ returns. 1 Corinthians 1:8

I am sure that God, who began the good work within you, will continue his work until it is finally finished on that day when Christ Jesus comes back again. Philippians 1:6

Ten days away from Christmas! By now, you are either eager to celebrate or in despair over all that still needs to be done. Now is the time to rely on the Lord for extra strength and endurance. He will preserve you, steady you, keep you strong, and continue to work in you —not only until Christmas, but until the day he returns to earth.
