The word of God is full of living power. It is sharper than the sharpest knife, cutting deep into our innermost thoughts and desires. It exposes us for what we really are. Hebrews 4:12

Your words are what sustain me. They bring me great joy and are my heart’s delight. Jeremiah 15:16

Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles. Psalm 119:50

As the Word of God, the Bible is the only document that is “living,” that is, relevant for all people in all places for all time. It is as contemporary as the heart of God and as powerful as your most urgent need. It will sustain you and bring you joy regardless of what happens in life because God uses it to speak to you.
