Why does God desire me?

God’s Response

He loves us with unfailing love; the faithfulness of the LORD endures forever. Praise the LORD! Psalm 117:2

You are a God of forgiveness, gracious and merciful, slow to become angry, and full of unfailing love and mercy. Nehemiah 9:17

See how very much our heavenly Father loves us, for he allows us to be called his children. 1 John 3:1

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” Psalm 27:8

God loves you because he made you. You are not a random creature evolved from a prehistoric primordial soup. God created you in his own image to have a relationship with him. God desires your friendship, and he is courting you now. Pursue him and discover the purpose for which you were made.
