Enthusiasm
Enthusiasm
Is it okay to celebrate my faith? I thought it was all so serious.
God’s Response
In fact, it was your enthusiasm that stirred up many of them to begin helping. 2 Corinthians 9:2
Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people. Colossians 3:23
Rejoice in the LORD and be glad, all you who obey him! Shout for joy, all you whose hearts are pure! Psalm 32:11
The LORD sparked the enthusiasm of Zerubbabel . . . and the whole remnant of God’s people. They came and began their work on the house of the LORD Almighty, their God. Haggai 1:14
The decision to follow Christ is serious, but the Christian life should be full of delight and joy. In fact, God’s Word tells you to serve him enthusiastically, to sing, dance, play music, and set aside special days of joy, food, and fellowship. Serve God with enthusiasm and your joy will be infectious.
God’s Promise
Praise the LORD, I tell myself, and never forget the good things he does for me. Psalm 103:2
