What must I do to experience intimacy with God?

God’s Response

My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “LORD, I am coming.” Psalm 27:8

The LORD is close to all who call on him, yes, to all who call on him sincerely. Psalm 145:18

Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. James 4:8

If you want intimacy with God, you need to draw close to him, talk to him, respond to him, and call on him sincerely. If you have a dear friend, you do your best to stay in touch. It’s no different with God. He promises that as you draw close to him, he will draw close to you.
