Challenges

Challenges

How should challenges shape my life?

God’s Response

Afterward Paul felt impelled by the Holy Spirit to go over to Macedonia and Achaia before returning to Jerusalem. “And after that,” he said, “I must go on to Rome!” Acts 19:21

I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. For everyone here, including all the soldiers in the palace guard, knows that I am in chains because of Christ. Philippians 1:12-13

Challenges keep you from being comfortable and satisfied with the status quo, and force you to follow God’s leading into uncharted waters. Paul’s vision to preach the gospel continually drove him to new challenges. He even saw his time in prison as an opportunity to witness to the soldiers who guarded him! View your challenges as occasions for spiritual growth.

God’s Promise

Be strong and take courage, all you who put your hope in the LORD! Psalm 31:24
