What To Do?

What to Do?

Does God show me what he wants me to do with my life by what I’m good at?

God’s Response

[Potiphar] took Joseph and threw him into the prison. . . . Before long, the warden put Joseph in charge of all the other prisoners and over everything that happened in the prison. The warden had no more worries, because Joseph took care of everything. Genesis 39:20-23

What do you want to do with your life? This is a tough question. You may find your first clues by considering your talents and abilities. While you may not get the perfect job that uses all of your skills, you can hopefully move into a career in which you work well because you are doing what you love to do. Sometimes, however, you will need to take a job because you need it, and trust that in the future, God will make use of whatever you learn there. God will not waste your time. Like Joseph, you should do the best you can with the job at hand. God will do the rest.

This Is Promising

Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you many more responsibilities. Matthew 25:21
