How can a tiny baby be the mighty God?

God’s Response

A child is born to us, a son is given to us. . . . And he will be called: . . . Mighty God. Isaiah 9:6

Suddenly, a fierce storm struck the lake. . . . [Jesus] got up and rebuked the wind and waves, and suddenly all was calm. The disciples were amazed. “Who is this man?” they asked. “Even the winds and waves obey him!” Matthew 8:24, 26-27

That’s why I work and struggle so hard, depending on Christ’s mighty power that works within me. Colossians 1:29

It’s hard to picture the baby Jesus as the mighty God, but he was mighty enough to create the world, live a sinless life, heal countless people, calm storms, and conquer death. He is mighty enough to conquer your troubles too!

This Is Promising

Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Ephesians 3:20
