God’s Response

May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD. Psalm 19:14

Put me on trial, LORD, and cross-examine me. Test my motives and my heart. Psalm 26:2

He will bring our darkest secrets to light and will reveal our private motives. Then God will give to each one whatever praise is due. 1 Corinthians 4:5

God desires a teachable heart that has integrity and is pure, joyful, and devoted. This kind of heart honors and delights him. We will never fully achieve these qualities in this life, but God is pleased when we truly desire a heart like this. Do your best to move in that direction today.
