One Year From Now

How can I ensure that I will be better off a year from now?

God’s Response

He died for everyone so that those who receive his new life will no longer live for themselves. Instead, they will live for Christ, who died and was raised for them. 2 Corinthians 5:15

Let the Holy Spirit guide your lives. Then you won’t be doing what your sinful nature craves. Galatians 5:16

Look at those who are honest and good, for a wonderful future awaits those who love peace. Psalm 37:37

There’s a whole new year just around the corner. It’s a fresh start, with no mistakes made yet. In a sense, this is the chance to become a new person. In the year ahead, commit to growing every day in your relationship with the Lord, even just a little bit. Ask the Holy Spirit to change you, day by day, into all God wants you to be, and a year from now, you will be a better person.

This Is Promising

Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! 2 Corinthians 5:17
