Making Friends

Making Friends

I have a hard time making friends. What should I do?

God’s Response

“First let me do this one thing: Let me go up and roam in the hills and weep with my friends for two months, because I will die a virgin.” . . .She and her friends went into the hills and wept because she would never have children. Judges 11:37-38

King Hiram of Tyre had always been a loyal friend of David. When Hiram learned that David’s son Solomon was the new king of Israel, he sent ambassadors to congratulate him. 1 Kings 5:1

Everyone wants to have good friends, but few are willing to invest the time and effort necessary to build such relationships. You may not make friends quickly and easily, but you can build strong, lasting friendships over time. It might help you to consider the qualities you desire in a good friend—then work to develop those qualities in your own life.

This Is Promising

Do to others whatever you would like them to do to you. Matthew 7:12
