Does God’s presence in my life affect my future?

God’s Response

We have a priceless inheritance—an inheritance that is kept in heaven for you, pure and undefiled, beyond the reach of change and decay. And through your faith, God is protecting you by his power until you receive this salvation, which is ready to be revealed on the last day for all to see. 1 Peter 1:4-5

That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love him.” But it was to us that God revealed these things by his Spirit. 1 Corinthians 2:9-10

God promises Christians that a priceless treasure is already awaiting us in heaven, held until that future time when we leave this earth by death or when Christ returns. If you’re a Christian, your future is secure and eternal because of God’s presence in your life. Without God’s presence, you cannot have an eternal future in heaven.

This Is Promising

Because of his grace he declared us righteous and gave us confidence that we will inherit eternal life. Titus 3:7
