Giving Thanks

Why is it important to thank the Lord?

God’s Response

He fell to the ground at Jesus’ feet, thanking him for what he had done. This man was a Samaritan. Jesus asked, “Didn’t I heal ten men? Where are the other nine? Has no one returned to give glory to God except this foreigner?” Luke 17:16-18

Since everything God created is good, we should not reject any of it but receive it with thanks. 1 Timothy 4:4

Thanking God shows an attitude of gratitude. A thankful heart gives you a positive attitude because it keeps you focused on all God is doing for you. Make giving thanks a part of your prayer time, and thank God for something every day.
