Trust

I’m afraid that if I trust God, he will take me someplace I don’t want to go. What can I do about this fear?

God’s Response

Take delight in the LORD, and he will give you your heart’s desires. Psalm 37:4

My purpose is to give life in all its fullness. John 10:10

May he grant your heart’s desire and fulfill all your plans. Psalm 20:4

“For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

God’s plans are always good plans. His desires for you will fulfill and satisfy you. If your mind and heart are truly in tune with his will, you won’t be going where you don’t want to go. He changes your heart before he adjusts your future plans. Will you let him change your heart? Since God alone knows the future, who can plan your future better than he?
