What should I thank God for?

God’s Response

I will thank the LORD with all my heart as I meet with his godly people. How amazing are the deeds of the LORD! All who delight in him should ponder them. Psalm 111:1-2

I will give thanks to your name for your unfailing love and faithfulness, because your promises are backed by all the honor of your name. Psalm 138:2

Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good! Psalm 118:1

Thank God for his Son—a gift too wonderful for words! 2 Corinthians 9:15

There are so many things to thank God for—salvation, faith, love, heaven, miracles, food, other believers, family, work, nature, laughter, his unfailing faithfulness, his honor, his goodness, his Son . . . in fact, you can give thanks for everything good!

God’s Challenge

Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from him, so you will grow in faith, strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with thanksgiving for all he has done. Colossians 2:7
