I often feel alone when I face difficulties in my life. Where is God in those times?

God’s Response

When the traders came by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for twenty pieces of silver. . . . The LORD was with Joseph, giving him success in everything he did. Genesis 37:28; 39:3

We are hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down, but we get up again and keep going. 2 Corinthians 4:9

Though you may not feel God’s presence or be able to see him working, you can be sure that God is always with you. Many of the heroes of the Bible felt alone at some point, and you should not be surprised when this happens to you as well. It is often during the times when your faith is challenged that you grow the most. God has a plan for everything, even loneliness. If you keep watching, you will see his plan for you unfold.
