As a leader, how can I inspire hope?

God’s Response

Perhaps you will think to yourselves, “How can we ever conquer these nations that are so much more powerful than we are?” But don’t be afraid of them! Just remember what the LORD your God did to Pharaoh and to all the land of Egypt. Deuteronomy 7:17-18

You will enjoy a long life in the land the LORD swore to give to your ancestors and to you, their descendants—a land flowing with milk and honey! Deuteronomy 11:9

You inspire hope in others by reminding them of God’s past blessings, by presenting them with a positive vision of the future, and by speaking and acting in ways that show your complete confidence in the Lord’s provision. By remembering together how God has delivered you in the past, you remind others of the blessings awaiting you in the future.

Be strong and take courage, all you who put your hope in the LORD! Psalm 31:24
